Picky Picky

Today our little family invaded a pick your own apple orchard. Only problem was the freeze this last spring destroyed two-thirds of all the crop. Therefore, no picking was to be done. Only hayrides, picking out a pumpkin, and buying expensive cider. Well, that was not what Andy wanted to hear. So, he went on his own little secret picking spree, and like always, came back bearing fruit. It was pretty dang good too! So was the apple cider, peach cider, and apple pie. Yum!

We also picked ourselves up a nice pumpkin to carve, and a mini pumpkin for Stella. ("for Stella" - whatever that means)

Forgive Stella's immodesty...Andy wanted to leave Stella's pants off after we changed her diaper so she could get some sun.

Quick - Hide! Don't let them see you!

Stella was cool hanging out during the apple picking and hayride, but she really enjoyed playing with, and trying to suck on the pumpkins.

There were animals, but Stella didn't seem to interested.

Did you have a good time Stella?

We'll take that as a yes!

Andy, that doesn't surprise me at all that you would venture off to find yourself some fruit. Glad that it was yummy. And Stella looks as precious as usual. How fun
that you are exploring things that you can do in South Carolina. Thanks for all the posts Melissa. WE eat them up

Melissa,
Love your pictures. I am so jealous of your camera. And your baby is sweet and special, too!
Aren't you glad you didn't go down the slippery slope?

How fun! I wish there was a pick-your-own apple orchard around here. When I was little we picked kiwi at a place like that--such a fun memory of riding on my dad's shoulders to pick the fruit off the vine.

Can I just say... Classic Andy?! Those giant nostrils are the best fruit finders I've ever seen! :)
