Stella has started to say a few words. Her first word was bubble, but now she will only whisper it. I think she is trying to actually blow a bubble while saying it or something...so it is hard to tell what she is saying. The other words she says in this video are uh-oh, ball, owl (which she always says when we read her animal book...the only word she says when we read her animal book), bye, and roar. She also likes to say whoa and wow. Today she also said two and three for the first time. She has been signing more, all done, and her own made up sign for dad for a while now, but we love to hear her little voice.

My Birthday Celebration

The Big 2-5!  I want to know when I got so old.  I'm not too happy about it.  One thing I am happy about, however, is how awesome my Birthday was.  My  wonderful Husband took me on a weekend trip to Atlanta.  We stayed in a super swanky hotel right in downtown Atlanta and went to Coke World.  Perfect for me.  I  L.O.V.E.  coke!  The best part about it was that they let you try 64 different flavors of coke from around the world.  I thought I would try them all, but man the sugar gets to you pretty quickly.  They did have one awesome flavor that they need to bring here, it was a green apple flavor - sooo yummy.  I loved it!

That night we went out to Mimi's for my birthday dinner.  They don't have a Mimi's near us at all - so it was perfect that we were out in Georgia where we could keep the tradition of celebrating my birthday at Mimi's alive.  It was delicious as always.  Stella wasn't too good during dinner, and acted like a crazy little kid.  There was a little girl who kept coming over to stand next to our table to watch  Stella.  Apparently she liked her.  It made me feel like I was on Newlyweds for a minute, I never realized how uncomfortable someone staring at you while you ate was.  Poor Nick and Jessica.  Here is a picture of Stella doing a little birthday dance for me.

The next day we went to a place called Stone Mountain Park.  We really loved it.  Hopefully we will one day take our kids there and spend a little more time.  They had this super old bridge we drove over.  Kind of creeped me out, but it sure was pretty.

This carving was started by the same guy who carved Mt. Rushmore.  Sweet eh?  They had to be harnessed in while carving this big old mountain.  Pretty crazy.  (if you click the picture to make it big you can kind of see the carving)

Stella enjoyed being outside all day.

This is Andy's dream backyard.  He wanted me to take these pictures so that one day he could make one of these for our kids and their friends.  I hope he can, because it was an awesome ropes course!

We watched these two people make blown glass and it was so cool.  I was completely enthrawled.  I probably could have watched for an hour or two, it was so rad.

Learned something new about my last name.

I thought this was perfect.  We spun the wheel to get our fortune.  This was Andy's... fits him perfectly!

"Smile... Let the world wonder what you're up to"

And mine... perfect considering it was my Birthday and Andy had planned such a great weekend.

" A Husband that misses his wife's birthday will probably catch it later"

Thanks Andy... for not "missing" my birthday, and making it such a special one for me.  I love you!

What we've been up to!

Here is a sneek peek at the fun we have been having.  Not that you can tell what it is we have been up to - but you can tell it was FUN!  I will post more as soon as I can...promise.

Sunday treat

Just an example of one of the many many ways Stella is like her daddy.  :)
