Today Jeramia and I did his picture and Stella's picture. I had to put Stella's on here because it turns out she looks like one of my favorite people! Too much.

Marco...
Yesterday was Stella's first time in a pool. We are lucky and have one in our complex. The water was fairly chilly yesterday, but Stella still enjoyed herself. Her chunkiness helped her out, Andy just had to hold her head out of the water, otherwise she could float. She wasn't even upset when we took her out. She just chilled afterwards like everything was all good. Looks like we'll be spending some more time down by the pool.

Celebrity look-alikes
Our Little Buddy
I have Jeramia for a couple of hours after school everyday so I thought I should put up a post for him. He is the 8 yr. old son of Chad and Karen Rozmus (a family my brother met while on his mission who have now become our great family friends as well) and he is a crack up. Yesterday he told me he considers himself an adult. He loves little Stella and finds a great sense of accomplishment after getting her to stop crying or helping her fall asleep. He enjoys playing with Andy, as well as dancing around the house after watching You Got Served. We love Jeramia and are glad we get to have him share some of his day with us.

Congaree River
Yesterday we went to the riverwalk at the Congaree River. It was Beautiful. The river is HUGE, but very shallow. There were a ton of people floating down on tubes, and we plan on floating down ourselves soon. Stella slept for most of the trip, which is probably ok because it was very hot. We also saw and felt - unfortunatley - quite a few bugs. There are trees that cover most of the trail, which makes for some good shade, but some bad company. It was an enjoyable time though, despite the bugs and heat, and we will probably visit there often. Especially now that we know to wear our bathing suits!

The real "worlds safest beach"
About 3 and a half miles from our house there is an amazing lake. Lake Murray to be exact. It is 41 miles long and 14 miles across. The Damn is a quarter of a mile thick at the base. It is beautiful. We have been there three times so far because we love it so much. There are turtles that pop their heads out of the water, plenty of people joy riding, and there must be a ton of fish for all the fishermen that hang out there at night. The water is a perfect 88 degrees. Can you believe that? 88 degrees! And if you thought the waves at Carpinteria beach were small, you should see these. Perfect for us carefull types:). Stella enjoyed herself. She loves the water. We have found our new favorite hang out. These pictures don't quite do it justice of course, but maybe you can get a glimpse of how beautiful it is.
Oh yeah - if anyone is looking to join us out here in good old South Carolina, there are some beautiful homes right on the water for very reasonable prices. Just thought I would throw that in there.
