Life with Everett

Things with Everett have been going great! He is so far, my best sleeper and eater, now that we have some Zantac for his throwing up issues. He was up every hour to eat, barf, act uncomfortable, and then fall asleep for a few minutes to wake up and do it all again, but now goes three hours between feedings, (and five hours two times now... lets hope this continues) and only has the occasional spit up with a burp. He sleeps a lot, and is growing like a mad man. On his 1 month birthday he weighed 10 pounds 6.4 ounces. CHUNK!!! (these pics are not recent, and do not show his chub:)) He smiles quite a bit also, but so far I am the only one who sees most of them, as it usually happens at night while Andy is reading, praying, and brushing teeth with the other two munchkins.

He is such a little sweet man, and we are loving having him around! Stella told me the other day that she likes "real" babies. She also said that she has misses Everett so much, because he was in my tummy for such a long time, so she wants to bring him along on our mother daughter date. (good thing, cause he'd be coming along anyway)

Happy Easter

We have had a good Easter! Stella sang in sacrament meeting for the first time. She didn't actually sing, she just stood there looking out at everyone, but it was still so fun for us to watch our big sunbeam standing up on the stand. Sterling snuck his easter basket off the counter and shoveled plenty of sugar into his mouth during nap time... luckily we heard his little footsteps from our bedroom and stopped him before too much damage was done. Stella wore her beautiful "princess" Easter dress (as she calls it) that her Grandma Smith made her. She looked adorable, and the boys coordinated in blue and green polo's. We celebrated with friends over for dinner, so Andy made an awesome spread and it was all delicious:)! We are so grateful for our Savior, and know that it is because of him we can be together forever as one big happy family of five...(so far).

Brothers and sisters...

I am sure these little ones will grow up and have lots of fun together...

When we first came home from the hospital, my mom was around to give the two older munchkins some tlc... They pretty much ignored the fact that a new little brother had joined the family.

Now that my mom has left and they can no longer just ignore the fact that things have changed... they have become much more interested in little Everett. Sterling LOVES to help take dirty diapers to the trash, and to put Everett's pacifier in his mouth. Stella loves to tell me "your baby is crying", and wants desperately to hold him while walking around the house. I keep telling her..., "One day". (maybe with the next sibling - maybe???)

3 weeks...

Three of the best weeks ever...

(Everett tells fish tales already)

More to come...
