Celebration

We celebrated Sterling's big day on Saturday, and he had a blast. He loved his cake - which was rewarding for me - because you would think a one year old would care less - but he sat by the sliding door - staring out at his cake (we stored it on our back porch to keep it cold since it didn't fit in our fridge for a few hours before the "party") and kept grunting in an effort to make us see he wanted it. Made all the effort worth is and so funny.

He also loved opening presents. He kept clapping, and smiling. He was spoiled by the Rozmus's and his buddy Dominic.

Stella was a great helper!

He pretty much thought his birthday ROCKED!!! And we did too. Super fun times!

The sweetest little "helper"

The other day, I kept busy in the kitchen cooking the days usual meals - and a huge birthday cake for Sterling...

But I didn't have to do the dishes...

Stella took care of that part. (so did Dad after stella finished up...)

She did a fantastic job, and was entertained for about 45 minutes in the process. She asked me this morning if she could do the dishes again. I'm sure one day I am going to have to beg her to do the dishes... so for now, I will enjoy the sweetest little bits of help I can get!

Thanks Stella (and Dad) - for being such a big help!

The new do again...

I know, I know... you want more pics of my new sweet haircut... Well, I don't really have any, except the ones I can take with my web-cam, and they all happen to look the same, so... here is another one, and I will try to get some pics from different angles, etc. and post them sometime...

Until then...

almost there...

ONE is right around the corner for this little mess-maker!!! I can't believe it!!!

Lions and tigers and Cabelas...

(all horizontal pics are cut off again... sorry)

While we were in Utah, my Dad took us to Cabela's so that the kiddos could see the animals.

They pretty much loved it!

At one point the scuba diver who was cleaning the fish tank turned and waved at Stella... she freaked.

Then Stella and Grandpa fed the fish... they were ravenous!

Stella wasn't scared of any of the animals. She was, however, totally freaked out by this robot guy (he looked pretty real) who told a story and was set like he was camping. She made me hold her the whole time we were in the same room with him.
It turned out fun, plus I got Andy a sweet christmas present while we were there... glad we went!

I know, I know...

my posting lately has been terrible... but thanks to Santa (ahem... mom and dad... ) a new computer is on its way, and I can't wait to use it... so posting should get back to normal! Until then, I will spend my time cleaning, cooking, and doing everything that will be neglected when I have photoshop in my hot little hands;).
